Cheers to 3 Years

This past weekend/week Noah and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary. We took our young padawan and spent Friday night at the glorious Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. We first ate dinner at Ruth's Diner, one of our favorite restaurants, up Immigration Canyon. Finn loved it there. We ate out on the back patio under globe lights, with live music playing, it was pretty perfect. Plus, their deep fried macacroni and cheese appetizers are the bomb diggity. We then went to Dolcetti Gelato, the best gelato shop in town (actually ever) and chatted with our friends/the owners. We then went back to the Grand and all snuggled in the giant king size bed. The next day we went to the opening day of the SLC Farmers Market and got the usual mint limeade and Volsen's bread loaf. It was a short but fun little weekend getaway.

Our actual anniversary was this past Wedesday, the 12th. We didn't do much because our precious ball of chub stayed up most of the night so mom and dad were super tired. But yesterday we took the annual trip up to Millcreek Canyon and had a cookout near the spot we were married. We had tinfoil dinners, s'mores, and I took hundreds of pictures. Grandma even came along!

I'm so glad we've made it a tradition to go up to where we got married every year. It's going to be fun to see that log fill up with more little people as the years go on.
