It's Looking Like Christmas At Our House

Good grief, I love Christmas! Noah and I wanted to get a jump start on the holidays this year. Last year it seemed like we were a little late on the Christmas decor band wagon and it was gone in a flash so this year we went ahead and started earlier than usual. We went to the Robinson Tree Farm just down the road from us and picked out the perfect, and when I say perfect I mean perfect, tree. It doesn't tilt or anything! It usually takes us 2 hours to get the thing to stay upright in the tree stand. First try! If you saw my Christmas decor post from last year you're probably thinking you're seeing double right now. Our decorations are about the same as last years. Which brings up a question. How many years in a row do you use the same Christmas tree decorations? We're going on year three of our owl/woodsy decorations and I'm feeling pretty good about it. Last year I added some painted twigs to the mix and love how that added a little brightness to the tree. This year we added a stocking for the Finneus (purchased from Tai Pan ((Noah calls it Pad Thai)). We added a mini-tree to Finneus' room, complete with ornaments from Grandma Zemke. We also added some Christmas prints that are available in the shop

The best part of all these adornments is the tree that makes our house smell like a pine tree forest. That my friends, takes the cake. I've died and gone to tree heaven.

These are the newest members of Olive + Birch. I'm thinking a Christmas Print Giveaway should be in the works here pretty soon so stay tuned.

  1. I love your digital prints Allyssa! You do such an amazing job! My Christmas decor has been the same for many years, but I think you can get away with the same for 3-4 years, just change a few things here and there! My 2¢
