New Lens, Happy Girl

I have the best husband in the world. He always does little things to surprise me. For example, he leaves sweet notes around our home for me to find. Every now and again he will bring home a bouquet of brightly colored flowers for no reason at all. Like I said, he is the best. This surprise however, takes the cake. I've been wanting a 50mm 1.4 lens since I got my camera 2 years ago. It just never seemed to be the right time to make another big "camera" purchase so I kept putting off buying one. Well, the other day Noah went to run some errands. You know, grocery store, pharmacy, hardware store, your average errands. In walks Noah with a small white Pictureline bag. It was like the bag was glowing, I think I may have even blacked out for a split second because I knew exactly what was in that "glowing" bag. I gave him a big hug and kiss and quickly attached that bad boy on and starting clicking away. The lens is like magic, and the depth of field is unreal (especially compared to the stock lens I've been using the past 2 years). I can actually take photos indoors now! I can't wait to go out and take some photos. Does anyone want a free photo sesh, courtesy of yours truly? I really can't get enough of this thing.
