Last Hoorah to the Swiss Alps.

It's March. You know what that means? Baby is due next month, this is quite shocking for us over here at the Zemke household. The husband and I's conversations consist of diaper brands, baby soothing/calming techniques, and the crazy realization that we are going to have to raise this kid. We have been super busy lately with getting the nursery finished and preparing for Finn's fastly approaching arrival. We decided we need one last getaway before this little guy comes. Noah found a lovely little Swiss inspired resort in Midway, Utah, which is about an hour or so from Salt Lake City. Far enough to feel like we are "out of town" but close enough that it's not a hassle to go for just a night (also long car rides are not my favorite these days).

Now doesn't this just look divine. Our one night stay will consist of a little swim in the indoor pool, a free spa credit, and room service (I'm a bit addicted to room service ever since the honeymoon).

We're taking our babymoon a little late in the game but better late than never, right?

  4. My husband and I stayed there for a weekend when we were newlyweds. It was the BEST! We snorkeled in the Crater and we also took a shuttle to Park City for the day. It was so romantic -- we bought a premade gourmet picnic basket in Park City, rode the lift to the top, had a picnic, and then rode the Alpine Slide down!

    1. That sounds like so much fun! Now I wish it was summer so I could do all those things.. maybe we'll take a trip into PC and do some shopping on Main Street.

  5. Thanks for the camera advice today. I do have an SLR, but have only had it for 2 months with no prior experience. I have so much to learn! Thanks though, and have a great time!
