Love Story Link Up

 I'm linking up to a lovely little blog I follow called From Mrs. to Mama. She asked to hear our Love Stories so here is mine and Noah's. Enjoy.

1. How long have you and your significant other been together?
We have been together for almost 4 years now.
2. How did you meet? {What's your "love" story?}
It's quite the enchanting little story. The summer of 2008 we were both working in Skagway, Alaska. Noah worked on a glacier doing dog sled tours for tourists and I worked in a little t-shirt shop. He came into the store one day and got my number and we started hanging out. We went on hikes, ferry rides, day trips to Canada, had bonfires, danced in the Alaskan rain, etc. It was like it was straight out of a movie. He went home at the end of the summer back to Indiana and I went back home to Utah and we continued to talk every day. We would make little trips out to see one another every few months. The long distance was hard so we were on and off for a couple years until one day Noah decided to move to Salt Lake City to be closer to me. We were married 8 months later!

3. If married, how long have you been married? If not, is this the guy you hope to marry? {do tell}
We have been married for almost 2 years now.
4. If you are married, where did you get married at? Big or small wedding?  If not, where would you like to get married? And will it be big or small?
We had a small ceremony up a beautiful canyon in Utah. We were all gathered in a quiet clearing near the river with luscious green trees and plants surrounding us. It was perfect.

5. Do you have any nick-names that you call one another? Do share!
Honey is our nickname of choice for one another. We also have very strange nicknames or one another. He calls me Chicken Little, Darling Love Nugget, and Sugar Lips. I call him Noni, Noni-time, and Lover.
6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey.
He is very sensitive.
He thinks I'm funny.
He always puts me first.
7. Tell us how he proposed? Or your ideal proposal?
It's actually a funny story. We went snowboarding (not my forte) and we were on the ski lift. I was getting frustrated and actually starting crying because I wasn't doing a very good job of boarding (couldn't carve) and I told him to just go on without me and we could meet up at the bottom later. He then went on to tell me that he would never leave me and always wants to be with me no matter what. Then he popped out the ring and asked me to marry him. As you can imagine I was still crying but for a completely different reason. I said YES!
8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberries, champagne, and rose petals?
He does the flowers but also gets me something or does something a little out of the box like take me somewhere we love going or get me a silly knick knack of a gift. I love that kind of thing.
9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch?
Pop a movie in kinda girl. Especially if there is food involved.
10. Tell us one thing you'd like to do with your significant one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere?
This one is easy. I would love to go back to Alaska someday soon and relive our amazing summer together.
11. Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine's Day.
I actually just did a post on my V-day plans. Go here to check it out.
12. Are you asking for anything this Valentine's day?
Nope, just a lovely evening with my boys. (Husband and baby in the womb)
13. Give us one piece of advice of keeping a relationship strong and full of love.
I'll give you two because these are so so important. Patience and communication. I struggle with both of those but I'm working on it and our relationship gets better every day!
14.  Show us a picture of what love means to you.
Definitely embodies true love! Here's our sweet baby boy.
