Whooo Whooo.

Good news, I finished my owl costume. It wasn't too difficult, just time consuming as you can imagine. Many hours were spent cutting out those feathers then sewing them on row by row. But I'm getting ahead of myself. First, I made a sleeveless dress just out of a tan cotton fabric then came the feathers which are from different colors of cotton and I used a white burlap for some texture. Then came the mask. I got a masquerade mask from the craft store and cut out little felt featherlike shapes and hot glued them to the mask. So that's that. I'm glad its finished, and don't hate me, but I'm already kinda in Christmas mode and I'm ready to do this Halloween thing then dive into the JOYS of Christmas. Oh and P.S. Noah has decided against Max from Where the Wild Things Are and he is now going as Paul Bunyan. All we bought was a red plaid shirt and an ax, we have everything else, talk about an easy costume... I'll take it.
